Was Jackson robbed of prize in TPF?

Kenyans now know the newest millionaire in town after Ruth Matate sang her way to success of Tusker Project Fame contest and bagged a cool Sh5 million cash on Sunday.

Ruth, 26, was in a state of shock when she was pronounced the overall winner and sprawled to the ground with face down in shock.

Ruth bagged the handsome home prize money in a stiff competition which included many thrilling and lovable performances that literally threw the contest open, notably from Jackson, the contestant from Rwanda who was ranked the second runners-up on the night.

The first runner-up position went to another Kenyan, Doreen who had an evening of mixed feelings as she delivered an average performance according to the verdict returned by judges. But her luck was in the SMS votes which secured her slot two.

The ranking has touched off debates as to whether Jackson deserved to be a poor third when the jury endorsed his final performance as excellent including a standing ovation from a respected judge.

Could he have been the runner up? Was he outvoted by Kenyans who are SMS friendlier?
