Ecobank signs 2,000 merchants

You can now make cashless purchases of goods and services in 2,000 outlets countrywide using the Ecobank mobile platform.

The Pan-African lender, in partnership with MasterCard, launched the Masterpass QR (Quick Response) platform early this year as banks struggle to keep pace with mobile-based transactions.
