Mama's boys, men who are a little too attached to their mothers, have long been the subject of jokes and pop culture references. But what happens when that attachment extends beyond a healthy relationship with mum and interferes with romantic relationships?

If he constantly talks about his wonderful mother and the influence she has over his decisions he is the one. If he involves his mother in every decision whether big or small it could be a sign that he is overly dependent on her opinion and approval. If your partner always turns to his mother for emotional support rather than you it could be a sign that he has not fully separated from his mother's influence.
