The Senate Labour and Social Welfare Committee, chaired by Senator Crystal Asige, has launched a rigorous investigation into the controversial Kazi Majuu overseas employment program following allegations of widespread fraud.

Hundreds of Kenyan job seekers have reportedly been duped by unregistered recruitment agencies, with some agencies still retaining victims' passports, exposing significant oversight failures by the National Employment Authority (NEA).
