How fake doctor obtained Sh1.7 million from kidney patient

A Nairobi man has been accused of receiving money from a kidney patient with a promise he would assist him in undergoing a transplant in India. The accused, Stanley Macharia, was charged with obtaining Sh1.7 million from Daniel Karichu. He is said to have pretended he was in a position to facilitate Kirachu's travel to India for a transplant

The accused is said to have committed the offense between July and August. Consequently, he was charged with presenting himself as a doctor. Macharia is also accused of faking a declaration of consent affidavit.
