A Nairobi woman has denied stealing Sh6.1 million from her employer and sending part of the money to her boyfriend. Rachael Wanjiru Karongo is accused of colluding with others to steal Sh6,178,178 from Beautalice Investment Limited.
According to the charge sheet, Karongo committed the offence on diverse dates between June 6, 2017 and August 20, 2022 at Total Membley Service Station in Ruiru. She has also been charged with conspiring to defraud her employer.
