Standard Group to hold fifth transform Kenya forum focusing on higher education

Transform Kenya Forum is set to take place on 28th March 2019 at Daystar University, Nairobi Campus, Valley road as from 6 pm.

The theme of the event will be; The power of the pen: Forever on our side. The conversation will be centered around Higher Education in Kenya with a keen look into Higher Education Loans Board, Commission for University Education, University Academic Staff Union, Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services and Special Needs Education.

The panel of experts will discuss on shortcomings and where we can change to offer quality education and impact our markets.

The forum will also look into lasting solutions to issues in the education sector with special discussions from experts; Chief Executive HELB, Charles Ringera, Prof. Mwenda Ntarangi, chief executive CUE, Prof. Laban Ayiro, Vice Chancellor Daystar University, Dr. Lucy Wakiaga, Senior Lecturer, School of Education, Tangaza University College, Dr. Constatine Wasonga, Secretary General, Universities Academic Staff Union and Akello Misori, Secretary General, Kenya Union of Post Primary Teachers.

The forum will be moderated by Sharon Momanyi and Frank Otieno from KTN News.

This is the fifth edition of the Transform Kenya campaign after the first one on June 5, 2018 in Kwale County, focusing on environment. The second edition was held on September 6, 2018 at Strathmore, Nairobi. The third edition took place on October 25, 2018 at the Strathmore Business School. The forth one which happened on 26th February 2019 at Strathmore business school focused on basic education.
