Assets recovery agency UFAA appoints new CEO

The Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA) has appointed John Kihara Mwangi as the new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Trustee replacing Kellen Kariuki who resigned in the end of 2018.

In a short press release the assets recovery agency, UFAA, has praised Mr Mwangi pointing that he has vast experience under his belt and thus suitable to lead the organization.

“The Board is confident in the appointment of Mr. Mwangi and assures him of its full support in this new journey,” it partially reads.

 Mr Mwangi has experience in the banking sector spanning to over 16b years. For instance, he served as the Relationship Manager in Institutional Banking at the Bank of Africa (BOA) before moving to Investments and Commercial Banking Industry as the Relationship Manager in 2015.
