The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has dismissed reports circulating on social media alleging that taxi drivers and travel agents have been accessing restricted areas at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to meet passengers near aircraft.

In a press statement issued on June 24, KAA termed the claims as false and misleading, emphasizing that the authority adheres to strict security protocols in line with international aviation standards.
