PHOTOS: President Ruto jets back ahead of Azimio protests

President William Ruto recieved at JKIA by Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome. [PCS] President William Ruto has jeted back to the country after a four-day tour in Europe. The president arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 8:45am where he was received by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and top security chiefs. All eyes are on Ruto who is currently chairing a cabinet meeting at State House Nairobi even as Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition is expected to stage antigovernment protests across the country. The head of state also delivered a speech at the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue where he outlined the challenges facing the energy sector amid the current climate crisis. [PCS] While Azimio led by their principals Raila Odinga, Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka have maintained the weekly protes will continue untill Ruto lowers the current high cost of living, Ruto told investors that impunity will not be part of the country's political discourse. Nobody should trample on the rights of others," he said on Tuesday, March 28, in Berlin when he met Kenyans living in Germany.
