Radio Maisha wins People's Choice Award at the KUZA Awards for the third year running

Radio Maisha has won the People's Choice Award at the KUZA Awards for the third year running.

Radio Maisha is also now the most trusted media for news after emerging as runners-up for the initial two years.

In an event held at the Movenpick Hotel, several other media outlets have been feted. Radio Citizen emerged as the runner-up up in the People's Choice Award category with Musyi FM emerging as the third.

The same was maintained in the Most Trusted Radio for News Category where Radio Citizen also came second.

In the TV category, KTN Home is the 1st Runner's Up in the People's Choice Category while KTN NEWS came in the same position in the most trusted TV station for news.

Speaking after the announcement, the Managing Director Radio at the Standard Media Group, Tom Japanni lauded Radio Maisha listeners for confirming to the whole country that Radio Maisha is the most popular and most listened to station in Kenya.

 On her part, the Programs Controller Linda Oriaso has termed the win as the most satisfying news of the year so far and which is a reward to the many hours that every Radio Maisha staff has put into growing Radio Maisha and endearing it to the public.

He also congratulated the staff that has made a great contribution to the growth of the station. Radio Maisha News Editor was equally upbeat for managing to beat Radio Maisha's perennial rivals- Radio Citizen to the top spot as the Most Trusted Radio for news.
