Standard Group in partnership to bring John Maxwell's second virtual event to Kenya

Standard Group has partnered with Absa Kenya and Virtual Connect to bring the second live John Maxwell leadership forum, Live2Lead to Kenya.

The event, which will be broadcast live from Atlanta, Georgia on October 9, themed ‘Change Your World,’ seeks to equip those in attendance with new perspectives, practical tools and takeaways by learning from world-class leadership experts.

Some of the speakers expected to grace this event are John Maxwell, Steve Harvey, Alan Mullaly, Kat Cole and Craig Groeschel with local bonus curtain-raisers like Health Chief Administrative Secretary Dr Mercy Mwangangi; Founder and Pastor of Purpose Centre Julian Kyula; Darshan Chandaria the Group Chief Executive Officer Chandaria Industries Limited and representatives from Absa and Standard Group.

It will be moderated by media personality Caroline Mutoko.

Topics that will be covered include strategic leadership during tough times, transforming life events into leadership, communicating clearly to mobilise others to greatness and maximising events to reveal unending opportunities.

Those wishing to attend the virtual event are required to buy a discounted ticket of Sh19,000 for premium attendees and Sh9,900 for standard packages in order to get the login credentials.

Speaking during the launch of the deal yesterday, Standard Group’s Chief Officer Operations and Strategy Benedict Omollo said the media house will use its various platforms to promote the event.

“We look forward as a media house to use our platforms to market, push and promote this upcoming event where people will be inspired about building leadership skills, debate and ask all questions related to leadership,” said Omollo.

From ground zero

Mercy Achola, Founder of Value Connect and who is also Executive Director with John Maxwell’s Team said the event is acclaimed to raise attendees from ground zero after being hit hard by Covid-19.
