Wife of former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana dies in Nairobi

The wife of former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana has died.

Violet Mungatana who is the first wife to Danson Mungatana died while undergoing dialysis.

Mrs. Mungatana who had spent the last one month in hospital has been eulogized by various leaders including the Deputy President William Ruto.

“Condolences to family and friends of former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana following the death of his wife, Violet Mungatana. She was a devoted family woman; kind and welcoming, who stood out for her generosity and warm heart. Rest In Peace,” Deputy President William Ruto wrote on his twitter page.

Danson Mungatana popularly known as "the crocodile eater" was a staunch member of the NARC-Kenya party and was elected to represent Garsen Constituency in the National Assembly during the 2007 parliamentary elections.
