DPP opposes release of Githurai police officer

NAIROBI, KENYA: The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) are opposed to the release of a police officer whose prosecution on murder charges has sparked riots in Nairobi.

Titus Ngamau Musila alias Katitu (above) was arrested and charged with the murder of two people, which has seen Githurai 45 residents take to the streets in protest.
