Defending champions Tusker will be seeking to register their third win in a row when they face Posta Rangers in a FKF Premier League match to be played at Thika Stadium on Sunday.

Five matches are on the cards on Sunday as the league starts to gather pace with round 13 fixtures.

The brewers have been struggling to hit the road running in the 2021-2022 season.

However, it seems they have found their missing gear in the last two games heading into the Posta Rangers match.

The brewers will be hunting for their third consecutive win for the first time in the campaign with Robert Matano hoping free scoring Ibrahim Joshua continues to find the back of the net in plenty.

The Tanzanian import has scored four goals in two matches which has revived Tusker’s season which was looking gloomy after a slow start to their title defense campaign.

Victory against Mathare United and Bidco United have propelled the brewers to 10th in the log with 16 points and two games in hand.

However, they will be facing a more tough Posta Rangers side who are unbeaten in their last four matches.

On the other hand record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia will be seeking for redemption when they host relegation threatened Mathare United at Kasarani.

Gor are finding it rough after failing to win any of their last four matches in the 2021-2022 season which is slowly picking up pace.

K’Ogalo last victory came in December 9th last year where they defeated Vihiga Bullets 3-0. Since then, the record champions have lost twice (Homeboyz 2-1 and 2-0 City Stars) and drawn twice (Nzoia Sugar 1-1 and Bandari 0-0).

The poor form has left Gor seventh in the log with 19 points but with a game in hand.

A win against the Slum Boys who are also struggling will put the 19-time champions back on track and behind leaders KCB and Homeboyz.

The Slum Boys have not beaten K’Ogalo since 2019 and the record league champions picked six points from this fixture last season. However, a win for them will revive their season since their last win in the league was 2-1 triumph over Nzoia Sugar in October last year.

Mathare have collected only one point in their last eight matches where they have lost seven and drawn one, leaving them second-bottom in the log with seven points.

KCB will also be seeking to extend their unbeaten run to 12 matches when they host Bidco United at Utalii Grounds.

KCB’s last defeat came at the hands of Gor (2-1 loss) last year in September 25.

AFC Leopards will be out to build on their midweek win against Nairobi City Stars when they host struggling Nzoia Sugar while in the relegation zone, Vihiga Bullets’ hunt for a first win of the new season continues when they host Wazito in Kakamega.

Bullets are rooted at the bottom of the log with two points registered after draws against Bidco and AFC Leopards.
