Are there TWO suns in the sky? Strange phenomenon caught on camera

One eyewitness said it started as two celestial giants, but as the day went on it "looked more like a halo around the sun"

This bizarre footage appears to show two bright lights in the sky, prompting eyewitnesses to believe they were seeing two suns.

The clip shows an elderly couple pointing up at the strange phenomenon as they shield their eyes from the light.

The camera then spins round and points upwards to see the larger light on the left and the smaller one on the right.

The footage was recorded by Pablo Zapata, a resident in the village of El Guamo in Colombia, who witnessed the odd scene.

He said, "That was last Friday morning, we saw this phenomenon, we saw two bright things in the sky, like two suns."

Mr Zapata said others had seen the "two suns" in the nearby town of San Juan Nepomuceno, just south of Colombia's capital Bogota.

He added: "It lasted until 9 or 10 am, and it was the overcast. It looked more like a halo around the sun."

This is not the first time conspiracy theorist have said there is more than one sun.

In June, Mirror Online reported on prominent astronomer Paul Cox's claim that “NASA normally covers up" the second sun.

The shocking admission by the respected expert sent conspiracy theorists into overdrive, after he claimed there was a second Sun that “NASA usually hides".
