900 old people get Sh2,000 monthly stipend in Narok

Some 900 elderly people in Narok North Sub-County have benefited from Older Persons Cash Transfer.

Social Services officer Ms Joyce Kawira said 530 people from Narok North and 380 from Narok East constituencies benefited from the Sh2,000 monthly pay.

Those who qualify must be 65 years old and are required to fill in a questionnaire detailing their living conditions.

The funds are given by the national government through the Department of Social Services.
