Kenya Women Holding breaks ground for mall in Nakuru

Kenya Women Holding is building a shopping mall in Nakuru to meet the growing demand for quality commercial space. Dubbed the KWH Hub, the construction is scheduled to be completed in 19 months.

It will provide 221,000 square metres of commercial space to the business community and create hundreds of job opportunities in Nakuru County. The groundbreaking ceremony was officiated by Nakuru County Government officials and Kenya Women Holding Group CEO Dr Jennifer Riria.

“It is a proud day for us at Kenya Women Holding and our membership. Not only are we proud that we will add another iconic architectural feature to Nakuru county’s skyline but more proud that this building will boost the organisation’s revenue and enable Kenya Women Holding pump more in to the many interventions that we undertake in our effort touch the heart of the community,” said Riria.

KWFT Bank Managing Director Mwangi Githaiga at event said, “I would like to congratulate Kenya Women Holding for this big step and I would like to assure them that KWFT Bank will be the first tenants here when this property opens. We will support the organisation including financially to see the project through.”
