Commercial banks advised to listen to customers

By Standard Reporter

Nairobi, Kenya: Commercial banks have been challenged to innovatively provide products that suit the changing behaviour and needs of their customers.

Seven Seas Technologies group Chief Executive Mike Macharia noted that customer experience is at the heart of banks, hence the need to integrate their services to meet the new demands.

“Customers behaviour is changing, largely driven by the Internet and mobile phones hence the need to integrate and adopt these technologies into one platform for use,” he said.

Macharia was speaking during an executive briefing on technology and the future of banking business in Nairobi Thursday.
