Stop smear campaigns, DPM tells Mutula
By Allan Kisia
Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi has warned Justice Minister Mutula Kilonzo to stop "playing cheap politics with my reputation".
"I don’t understand why Mutula is moving from one funeral to another discussing me. He should come out clear and tell the world what he has against me," said Mudavadi.
The DPM said he will fight back should Mutula’s attacks persist.
Last week, Mutula named Mudavadi in Parliament as one of those under investigation by Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission.

Mutula is also reported to have told a gathering in Ukambani on Friday that the DPM is one of the "big fish" under investigation over corruption allegations.
On Saturday, Mudavadi, accompanied by his constituency civic leaders, called a press conference at his home in Sabatia District to dismiss Mutula’s remarks.
He accused Mutula of trying to divert attention from the heated debate in Parliament on the reappointment of Justice Aaron Ringera as the KACC director. Mudavadi said his relationship with Mutula has been deteriorating ever since ODM won the Shinyalu and Bomachoge by-elections, last month.
