Ndereba on mission to drive Prisons back to the summit

Kenya prisons service head of sports department coordinators Catherine Ndereba, who is also former Marathon winner at the World Championships in Athletics  at her office in Kenya prisons headquarters in Nairobi on 14th January 2021.[Edward Kiplimo,Standard]

She retired in 2015 and is now an assistant commissioner of Prisons Services.

Nicknamed “Catherine the Great” for her impeccable and consistent top-level performances, Catherine Ndereba is now on mission to restore Kenya Prisons Services’ lost glory in athletics.
