Somali cultural showpiece

Traditional Mandera villagers sing and play percussion as local leaders and other guests look on at the ongoing three days Somali Cultural Festival in Mandera stadium on 10th December, 2018 . The three days cultural event will now be an annual event says Governor Ali Roba.

Rich culture was showcased as Mandera County kicked off the inaugural Mandera Somali Cultural Festival yesterday.

Residents turned up at the Mandera Moi Stadium to have a taste of Somali cuisine, music and dance and a display of historical artifacts.
