We have arrested gang members linked to Nakuru killings, police say

Four suspects linked to shooting incidents that led to the killing of four M-Pesa vendors and a cop in Nakuru have been arrested.
An AK-47 rifle and three rounds of ammunition have also been recovered as police intensify the manhunt for more suspects.
Nakuru County Commissioner Loyford Kibaara stated that among those arrested are a 43-year-old woman and three men aged between 29 and 35.
Police reports indicate that the four suspects were arrested at their hideout in Umoja lodge within Nakuru town centre.
The police identified the suspects as William Nywhili Rioba, Nyahili Nyamuhaga Magige, Emmanuel Muita Muita, Catherine Nkatha Zakayo and Peter Chacha.

The report indicates that detectives also recovered four mobile phones, assorted SIM cards, bus tickets dated May 25, 2025, in the name of Mwita Emmanuel, and a motorcycle.
The suspect, as per the report, led the officers to Free Area within the Bondeni where they recovered an AK-47 rifle hidden under a heap of grass on the roadside.
