Partner with community to fight insecurity, police urged

Police officers must apply intelligence-led operations in order to combat insecurity, Machakos County commander Issa Muhamud has said.
Muhamud was speaking during the commissioning of a new police station at Kakuyuni in Southern Kangundo, where he urged law enforcers to partner with the public through community policing networks to identify criminals, and enforce law and order.
The station will be headed by the newly posted OCS, Chief Inspector Joseph Kinyua.
