Two legislators from Nyanza region have dismissed a State House visit by a delegation of 15,000 people from Kisii and Nyamira Counties as inconsequential.
Kisii Senator Sam Ongeri and Kisii Woman Representative Janet Ong'era also termed the decision by Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu seeking the removal of Chief Justice David Maraga as ill-advised.
Prof Ongeri said a majority of the people who were in the trip were NASA supporters who had merely grabbed an opportunity to tour Nakuru and meet President Uhuru Kenyatta in the hope that they would 'get something' in return.
Ms Ong'era said Uhuru did not address a single issue.
