Nairobi; Kenya: Tanzania-based Precision Air has signed a deal with hotel booking website, Jovago.com. The new partnership will enable travellers on the carrier’s website, www.precisionairtz.com to access information on hotels, and book accommodation in various destinations covered by the airline. Jovago.com managing director Estelle Verdier–Watine (pictured) said the integration creates a one stop shop for the customer.
“We look forward to this partnership having a great impact on passenger satisfaction as they now have access to discounted rates on accommodation,” Watine said. Watine said Jovago’s main goal is to promote e-tourism as a frontier in marketing Africa.

Precision Air Head of Corporate Communication Azda Nkullo noted that airlines and the hotel industry have always been interdependent hence the partnership moves to solidify the existing bond with main focus on customer.
The partnership between the two parties offers customers a variety of upto 10,000 hotels in Africa and a further200,000 worldwide. “We believe that this value added service to the customer will go a long way in promoting inter regional tourism in East Africa, especially after our three countries were named by a World Tourism Organisation (WTO) report as most visited destinations,’’ Watine said.. —Philip Mwakio
