'Welcome onboard!' Matiangi joins Gachagua, Kalonzo as 2027 politics hots up

Kenya's political scene is shifting once again, as a new alliance of political heavyweights positions itself as the force to beat President William Ruto in the 2027 General Election.

In an unexpected show of unity, former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang' joined former DP Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, and former Public Service CS Justin Muturi met in Nairobi today, declaring themselves the team that will "liberate Kenyans" from Ruto's administration.
