Fighting reported in Sudan after start of latest ceasefire

Residents in Sudan's capital reported fighting Tuesday, including artillery fire, on what was supposed to be the first full day of a weeklong cease-fire.

The Sudan Armed Forces of General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the Rapid Security Forces led by General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo had agreed to the halt in fighting beginning late Monday, with the ability to renew the deal after its initial seven-day period.
