Time running out for this year’s national exams

The likelihood of national examinations being written this year grew slimmer yesterday when President Uhuru Kenyatta gave an indication that gradual re-opening of schools might only be feasible in September.

According to Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec), 1,938,667 candidates have registered to write the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
