Olympic relay champion Robert Ouko, a member of 4x400 metres relay team that won the first ever Olympic gold for Kenya in the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, has passed on.

The 71-year-old died on the Sunday night while being rushed to hospital for treatment after developing complications arising from a long illness he has been battling since 2014.
