KDF, KMPDU offer free medical camp in Turkana

Medical personnel from the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) conducted a two-day free medical camp in Turkana County to address various challenges in the area.
 
Over 6,000 residents of Lokichar and Morulem were attended to by the KDF Medical Doctors and KMPDU personnel, who included consultant specialists, general practitioners, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and community health workers.

The medical personnel conducted cataract surgeries, screening of eyes, cervical cancer screening and general surgeries.
