Kylian Mbappe became the most expensive teenager in football when joined PSG from Monaco last summer.

But money is not everything to the £166million 19-year-old France sensation - underlined by his incredible act of World Cup kindness.

It has emerged that Mbappe is donating his entire international match fees to charity, because he feels he should not be paid to represent his country.

That reportedly amounts to £17,000-per-game (plus bonuses on top) and according to French daily L'Equipe , Mbappe is giving away the lot.

Mbappe is a patron of the Preiers de Cordees association, a charity which helps organise sports activities for children with disabilities.

It is understood he will be in line for a bumper bonus of £265,000 if France win the World Cup this summer.

And he has helped them well on their way to completing that goal - bagging two in the 4-3 victory over Argentina in the last-16.

He won the penalty which was converted by Antoine Griezmann with a darting run in the first-half, before scoring twice in quick succession himself in the second.

Mbappe fired across goalkeeper Franco Armani for the first, before breaking through the back line and hitting home the second.

They proved the decisive goals as Sergio Aguero struck a late consolation for Argentina in stoppage time

Mbappe's brace saw him become the first teenager to score at least twice in a World Cup match since Pele netted twice for Brazil against Sweden in the 1958 final.

And he's the first teen to score multiple goals at a World Cup since Michael Owen for England in 1998.

Mbappe's generosity is said to have influenced his France team-mates to follow suit.

Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti said: "When playing a World Cup, it's a pleasure, because it's a dream come true.

"Yes, here is money at stake. But I do not care. I do not play for that".

Mbappe's incredible gesture is not out on its own, however.

Kind-hearted England players have been donating their international fees in full to the England Footballers' Foundation charity for over 10 years.

Established in 2007, the EFF charity has supported various good causes including The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research, UNICEF, WellChild, Rays of Sunshine, The Honeypot Children's Charity, OnSide, Together for Shirt Lives, The British Forces Foundation and Help for Heroes.
