Abidjan: Ivory Coast's president Alassane Ouattara accepted the resignation of his prime minister and government on Wednesday.
"The establishment of a new government will have better coherence as a goal so the government can be more efficient," Ouattara said in a meeting attended by the media.
Ouattara was elected for a second five-year term in October with nearly 84 percent of the vote in a poll intended to mark an end to nearly a decade of crisis capped by a civil war in 2011.
