NAIROBI: Repeated statements by Deputy President William Ruto branding the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) Al-shaabab sympathisers have ruffled feathers with two opposition legislators accusing the DP of trivialising insecurity.
National Assembly Deputy Chief Whip Chris Wamalwa (Kiminini) and Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga were angered by Mr Ruto's linking of CORD to a terror group that killed 147 people in Garissa University.
