When referee Amos Wanjala awarded Gor Mahia two penalties against Nairobi City Stars on Saturday, many were quick to vilify the club for relying on that to win matches.
Some fans even posted that the club has scored 70 percent of its goals from penalties. However, nothing can be further from the truth. The fact is Gor Mahia have only scored four penalties since the season started.
Compare this to the 34 goals they have scored and you will see that the club has one of the least penalties this season. May be before posting such accusations, the fans need to do their home-work.
