NAIROBI, KENYA: Mbita Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo has reacted sharply to claims linking ODM party to an individual, particular part of the country and giving it all manner of descriptions.

The MP rubbished the talks as cheap propaganda basing her arguments on numerical strength of the party in the current parliament.

"Some people are bashing ODM saying it is a dead party, a Luo party, party ya wazee, Raila's property and all manner of
negative descriptions," she said adding that in the last general election, ODM managed 96 seats in the National Assembly, followed by TNA's 89, URP's 75, Wiper's 26 and Ford Kenya's 10.

She further pointed out that the party has 17 seats in the senate same as TNA. URP has 12, Ford Kenya 5 and Wiper 5.

In the Gubernatorial arm, she said ODM has 16, URP 10, TNA 8, Wiper 4. Conclusion. "ODM remains the biggest and most successful political party in Kenya, with the most widespread political base."
