Naivasha, Kenya: A weekend outing for a group of youths turned tragic after one of them drowned while swimming in a leading hotel in Naivasha.
Panic and anxiety gripped tens of revelers who had visited the hotel along Moi South Lake road as the youth was rushed to hospital where he was confirmed dead.
According to a witness, the deceased was in a group of workers who were having fun having arrived in the hotel from Nairobi hours earlier.
Naivasha OCPD Charles Kortok confirmed the incident saying that the body had been taken to Naivasha district hospital mortuary.
