Rwandan troops kill one person, halt lynching in Central African Republic

BANGUI, C.A.R: Rwandan peacekeepers intervened on Sunday to halt a lynching of Muslims, shooting dead one member of a crowd that had killed two Muslims in the capital of Central African Republic, a Rwandan military spokesman said.

Residents reported at least nine people killed in inter-religious violence at the weekend.
