Our voting pattern needs to change

In their very ethnic nature, Kenyans have failed from time to time to use reason (rational voting) on the ballot.

We have failed miserably in our endeavour to inspire change. Progressive voting demands that we evaluate leaders based on developmental policies.

As Kenyans we need to look at the past and ask ourselves where we failed and whether the candidates help us correct the mess.

It also involves judging the candidates based on their past development record. This kind of approach is important in the pre-election period as it will inspire sober mindedness during voting.

Should we be angry when mediocre business dominates our political leadership? No we should not because it is the Kenyan voters’ fault.
