A student from Egerton University who was reportedly murdered met his death while at home, a student leader has clarified.
Fredrick Juma, a student leader at the institution told Campus Vibe that: “We got the information from his family. They said Fredrick Onyango got home in Kisumu just after his exams, and went out to meet his friends. It is then that he died.”
An earlier post on Egerton University Facebook forums claimed that Onyango, a second-year student, was murdered at a nightclub over an alleged love triangle. According to the post, the deceased body was found lying in a pool of blood by the roadside.
