Man found dead, privates chopped off

Machakos, Kenya: A man was Friday found dead in Tala town, Machakos County.

Matungulu police boss Joseph Chesire said the body of the victim, identified as Mutinda Mulae, which was discovered Friday morning, had deep cuts on the neck and his private parts had been chopped off.

Mr Chesire said police suspect the man could have been killed elsewhere and his body dumped in the town.

"We have already launched investigation into the matter, but so far we are treating the incident as murder," he said, adding the motive of the killing was yet to be established.
