Kimilili cattle thieves eat grass after consuming witch doctor's concoction

Kimilili, Kenya: Residents of Khwitosi village in Kimilili sub County were treated to a rare spectacle when suspected cattle three thieves allegedly ate grass after a witch doctor administered a concoction to them .

The owner of the of the stolen cattle, Daniel Wasike, sought the services of a renowned traditional witch doctor, Okello Nyasi after his his efforts to recover the missing animals became futile.

 Wasike says he woke up to a rude shock Tuesday last week when he found his cow missing.
"I was disturbed. I informed the local administration and visited almost all cattle rings in the county with no success. I was then advised by a neighbour to seek the services of the witch doctor," he said.
“When the traditional doctor arrived, he started to administer his services by giving a concoction to everyone present. Then hell broke loose when three young men breake down and started eating grass like cattle”, he said.
The residents were treated to more drama as the alleged suspects started mowing like cows while rolling on the ground. They were roughed up by irate residents after they admitted stealing the cow and selling it.
"We needed money for alcohol and that is why we decided to steal the cowt," said one of the suspects only identified as Wanyonyi.
The witch doctor later resuscitated the suspects by giving them another concoction.

They were then taken to Kimilili Police Station by the Kibingei location Chief Cleophas Wekesa.
