Borussia Dortmund defender to follow Jurgen Klopp to Liverpool

Neven Subotic could be the first Borussia Dortmund player to follow Jurgen Klopp to Liverpool, report CalcioMercato.

One of Liverpool's weaker positions is the centre of defence and Subotic proved to be a favourite of Klopp during his time at Dortmund.

The 26-year-old has been managed by Klopp at both Mainz and Dortmund - and the manager now wants to bring him with him to Anfield to tighten up the back-line.

Liverpool fans will perhaps believe that Mats Hummels is the stronger of the two defenders, but Klopp has shown a lot of faith in Subotic and reportedly believes that he can make a big impact on Merseyside.
