Chelsea’s Mourinho voted Perfect Manager ahead of Guardiola and Wenger

Almost 50% of professional footballers would pick Jose Mourinho as their ideal manager, according to FFT's Players' Poll.

Almost 50% of players would love to work with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as their ideal manager, according to a poll released on Wednesday by FourFourTwo.

FourFourTwo asked 123 professional players, currently playing in the Premier League, the Football League, and the Scottish Premier League, who their perfect manager is – and almost half said Special One is the perfect boss.

On the subject of which manager the players would most like to play for, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho came out in first place with a whopping 48% of the vote.

Jose Mourinho is determined to chase more trophies after victory in the Capital One Cup on Sunday, the first of his second spell with Chelsea.

Coming in in second place is Bayern Munich boss Guardiola with 31%, ahead of Arsene Wenger (8%), Sam Allardyce (6%) and Jurgen Klopp (6%) who is often seen as the ideal successor to Arsene Wenger. England boss Roy Hogdson earned just a 1% rating.
