Going gets 'huge' for Kisumu sex worker

Counties

Kisumu sex worker

A woman in her mid-30s fled from a lodging in Bondo, saying the man she had booked the room with was more than she had bargained for.

The two had met at a popular Kisumu joint and after agreeing on the terms of “service”, they decided to go to Bondo town, some 60 kilometres away from Kisumu.

Apparently, the married man keeps a ‘big secret’ which is well known to sex workers who have consorted with him but avoid him thereafter.

But the woman in question had just joined the trade and when her mates noticed the man showing interest in her, they maliciously encouraged her, saying he paid handsomely for services rendered.

Shocking realization

The two negotiated on payment for the whole night long and decided to go to a neighboring town where the man’s wife or her friends and relatives were unlikely to spot them. Bondo, it was.

The man hired a self-drive taxi to the destination after which they booked a room and danced until about midnight.

After midnight, they went to the room. The woman later said the man claimed he was shy and wanted the lights put off. But after he crept into bed, she came to the shocking realization that things were not normal.

She said she felt so much pain that she recoiled and hit the man in the head with a torch to free herself. After a long struggle, she managed wriggle free. As she was fumbling for the door, she touched the light switch. What she saw made her scream and attracted the attention of the hotel workers.

“Ng’ani dwa nega, Mae duong ma pok ne aneno, yawa konyauru kapok Onega yawa, kata Ka en pesano we obedi (I have never seen anything this big in my life. The money can stay; I don’t want it!” she wailed as the man mad a mad dash for her.

But the hotel staff and other patrons who had been disturbed by the commotion and were standing outside the door pleaded with the man to let her go, which he did amid bitter complaints.

“We uru kethona chiemo maneaseloso, un koro ubiro kae nade ni unbe udwa bedo judge to ne wawinjre jii ariyo (You want to be our judge yet you were not there when we agreed on the terms? Why don’t you mind your own business!” he fumed.

When the door opened, she fled, leaving a pair of trousers and a blouse behind.
