All early childhood development (ECD) centres across Kakamega County will start offering free education starting this month.
This follows a directive by Governor Wycliffe Oparanya that children joining ECD centres learn for free. Parents will only be needed to buy uniform for their children as the county government has allocated Sh1,000 for each child.
