Facebook starts assembling team to grow advertising revenue from Kenya

NAIROBI: Social media networking company Facebook plans to deepen the use of its platform in Kenya by both individuals and businesses. The firm is looking to grow the number of users on its social network as well as advertising revenues from other markets around the world, including Kenya.

It expects to achieve through a local office and has started search for a candidate that will steer its growth campaign in Kenya. This comes a two months after the visit by Facebook Chief Executive and Founder Mark Zuckerberg.
