Kisumu, Kenya: Chaos in Kisumu West ward as enraged villagers burn homes and stone vehicles following the alleged kidnapping of area MCA, Mr Paul Odhiambo Okiri alias Minega last night.
Mr Odhiambo is believed to have been kidnapped last night after his car was found abandoned near his gate this morning. The villagers have torched several homes and disrupted transport along the busy Kisumu-Busia road. Police have rushed to the scene to contain the violence.
