SportPesa pulls another great deal in England

After nailing a shirt deal with English Premier League (EPL) side Hull City, Africa's betting giants SportPesa sealed another big three year deal with Southampton  as their official betting partner.

With their football ambitions under the tagline of 'JengaGame', SportPesa is focused on turning potentials into excellence and the road map in developing standards in local football.

The latest deal will see Saints supporting the development of young football players in Kenya by sending Football Development and Support Staff to Kenya, with young players visiting the club's Staplewood Campus to experience the demands of football development at a Premier League club.

Southampton, through their Chief Executive Officer Gareth Rogers, were delighted to land the partnership because it will help them build their partner portfolio for commercial success.

"We are delighted to have teamed up with SportPesa in what is by far our biggest partnership in this sector in the club's history, and one of our largest partnership deals to date," Said Rogers.

"This partnership will allow the club to continue to build its partner portfolio for commercial success on an international scale. Our reputation for player development continues to resonate around the world and we look forward to sharing our unique philosophy in Kenya and across Africa." He added.

SportPesa's Chief Executive Officer Ronald Karauri said their aim is to develop grassroots sport with a vision of helping Kenya to qualify for Fifa World Cup in 2022 and so, they welcome Southampton fraternity to Kenya to help them achieve the dream.

"We are grounded to our core values that center around grassroots sport and community development. Our vision is for Kenya to participate in 2022 FIFA World Cup and this is a step in that direction," Karauri stated.

"We look forward to welcoming saints Football Development and Support staff to Kenya as well as the opportunity to send our young players to the Club's Staplewood Campus to learn the demands of football development," he added.
