Barmaid Ciku was a wife in waiting
Chris Wandau, a banker married Ciku a bartender at his local after his wife dumped him and went to Qatar.
"He used to tease her a lot whenever we went to the bar together and we, as friends kept questioning his motives but he laughed claiming that we should not read much into it," Daniel Mwendwa, Chris's drinking buddy told the Nairobian. Chris and Ciku are happily married with one child. Ciku no longer works at the bar.
